Kinja'd!!!

Yesterday evening I learned that during last weekend's !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! this epic RSR-replica was stolen.

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

It's Ron Lopes Cardozo's 1973 911 rebuilt to RSR spec. It was taken from the parking-lot during the event in the Netherlands. It's pretty recognizable and a known car in the classic-rally world so I doubt it will be offered on the market locally over here.

Therefor I'm not sure what the thieves want to go doing with it, I hope they're not parting it out or anything.

Kinja'd!!!

So all the best to Ron, if anyone sees anything of this being offered contact !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . If you want to check how awesome this car is/was (although it clearly misses the yellow lenses) check their -subtitled in English- short film (and more pictures) of the car !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .

If I had the money, time and resources I'd be out to hunt down and kill the person or persons responsible for this.

Let's just hope it's just some juvenile delinquent taking it for some joy-riding. Then it shouldn't be so hard to find it back. The fact it's not been found yet is making me doubt this explanation is even close to the real thing.

Let's hope it was just towed to a different parking spot and no one drove it at all. And that the car will be found safe and sound.
